Introduce flair to the air! Bring a new level of excitement and atmosphere to you miniature terrain. Whether it’s smoke from the bowels of the earth, vapor from a cascading volcano, or a foggy misty bellowing from a portal to another realm, the DF Floor Fogger helps stage the scene and set the mood for adventure at every table.

Water-Based Fog

The DF Floor Fogger runs on plain tap water, and its internal reservoir holds up to approximately 70ml/2.4oz. Due to the vertical orientation and speed of the fog, it generates significantly less condensation on your terrain (or table). However, use caution under certain pieces, such as the Hellscape Volcano, as condensation can build up inside the piece and end up pooling on your table.

Wildlands Compatibility

We designed several Wildlands pieces specifically to accommodate the DF Floor Fogger. You’ll find it pairs underneath the Hole Knoll Floor or the Mountain SFX Cutout floor. Then, you top those off with either the Spreading Sporeclaw or Oblivion Nexus which both have dedicated fog channels.

Backwards (& Forwards) Compatibility

While the Volcano from Hellscape was specifically designed to fit atop the DF Floor Fogger, we found it isn’t the only one that works. A variety of other pieces from our past production, such as the Spirit Tree or Sewer Grate Street tile, have an appropriately placed hole that can be rigged over the fogger as well. Plus, we’re already sculpting new pieces designed for greater fogger compatibility.

Interval or Continuous Modes

The DF Floor Fogger also comes with TWO dispersal modes. In Interval Mode it releases three second long puffs of fog with ten second pauses in between. In Continuous Mode, an uninterrupted flow of vapor billows out without pause.

When powered by batteries (recommended: 3x AAA alkaline, not included), the Fogger could work up to approximately 11 hours in the interval mode, and for approximately 2 hours in the continuous mode (in this case, the batteries were used up and there was still water remaining in the reservoir). When using the USB port (USB charging cable not included), the Fogger could work for up to approximately 9 hours in the interval mode, and for approximately 2 hours in the continuous mode (in this case, all water was used up).

Horizontal Use

Despite its name, the DF Floor Fogger can also be used standing vertically for horizontal fog. However, please note that the water reservoir will only last about half as long in this position.
